WHS Inspections Are Required in Order for Organisations to Meet Their Legislative Requirements Under Relevant State and National Work Health and Safety Laws.

Safety Above can assist any type of business and organisation that requires Health and Safety Inspections to be undertaken in their workplace or specific areas, we will also ensure compliance with all current WHS legislation related to Health and Safety within the workplace.

What can we do to help?

Our Health and Safety inspections cover all work areas and physical parts of the workplace, along with an assessment of current documentation and processes. The core aims of our expert inspection services are to;

  1. Look for hazards or potential hazards in the workplace;
  2. Review risk assessments that have been carried out;
  3. Talk in confidence to employees and managers about any problems in the workplace;
  4. Look at how work is being done – are safe systems being followed?

Our Health and Safety Inspections are an important monitoring tool to ensure hazards remain controlled and employees and others are not at risk. Following our in-depth inspections we will produce an in-depth Health and Safety inspection reports are produced detailing:

  1. Observations made and hazards identified;
  2. Level of risk (High, medium or low);
  3. Any recommendations are necessary to ensure ongoing legal compliance.

WHAT ARE YOUR LEGAL DUTIES?

Organisations are required by law to have systems of work that are safe and without health risks. Thus, the organisation is responsible for the health and safety of workers and others who can be affected by its activities. This responsibility includes promoting and protecting their physical and mental health.

  6. Health and Safety Policies, which are compatible with the overall strategic objectives and direction of the organisation;
  7. Effective processes for identifying hazards, controlling OHS risks and taking advantage of occupational health and safety opportunities, i.e. suitable and sufficient Risk Management;
  8. Continual performance evaluation and monitoring of the OHS to improve OHS performance;
  9. Occupational health and safety objectives that align with the Health and Safety Policy and take into account the organisation’s hazards, risks, and opportunities; and
  10. Access to competent Occupational Health and Safety Consultancy advice.
